Giving Oblivion multi-threaded capabilities using OBSE

Really? My system is quad core too. I have minimal problems with Oblivion but enormous ones with Nehrim

Really? Anyway using multiple cores is always a good idea since we have them anyway :P . It is a difference between 2200 and 8800

Oh if a plugin would be made for OBSE to use Multi Cores it would be awesome!

I didn't think it would be possible for Oblivion but I noticed that Nehrim has this option, so IT IS POSSIBLE! :celebration: And now the difference between Nehrim and Oblivion for me is that in Nehrim I almost never have FPS problems, at least so far.

It would be great for me since I have Quad Core, and for others with multi cores of course.

Is it possible to find out what the Nehrim creators did to be able to use multi cores and make a similar feature for Oblivion?

where is this option in nehrim?

In the launcher when you select setup you can check it there.

@alexcapi Hmm, and in the ini you could make such a huge change?

Edit: I made a topic in the official Nehrim forum http://www.sureai.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=83&t=3020 where I asked how they did this, and truly this is just an ini modification :( . I hoped it was something more :(

No, you can't. The INI doesn't do anything. The Nehrim team is misunderstanding something, and any effect you think you see is purely placebo.

Yes, I guess you are right :sadvaultboy: . I hoped that something great was possible. Oh well, I will see this in ES V then...
