My alchemy level is 44, which is something I'm very proud of. My character is a modest Wood Elf, but his strength is not to be underestimated. He's a smooth talker and almost defies what it means to be a Wood Elf, but this is why he left Valenwood in the first place. Elinroth always knew he was different. The savage behavior exhibited by his clan-folk was always too much for him. He admired the way of the Bosmer, but he just couldn't bring himself to be like them ... so he left ...
On a side note, I enchanted my first item today. You know that feeling you get when you create something useful and you give it the most epic name of all time and you just become attached to it? Well I did that today. I created a Gold Diamond Ring that was worth 900 Septims at The Forge and was very satisfied with my creation. I then enchanted the ring to improve sneak and named it "Mother's Ring". Elinroth's mother had given it to him as a gift before she abandoned his family
I have a minor complaint. I'm really into naming my stuff I create and I almost pride myself on my ability to always make the names awesome. WHY CAN'T I NAME MY POTIONS? That was the entire reason I started Alchemy in Oblivion, you know that? I would make potions just so I could name them. Eventually I came to love Alchemy for the other reasons, but I still enjoyed the satisfaction of cleverly naming my creations. Now that Skyrim is here, I can't name my potions? What's up with that?
