Here's my problem/glitch. By the way, this has nothing to do with cache clearing, it seems, because the glitch still happens. Anyways, I'll Alchemize some potions, and when I go to drink one, it freezes my game. I investigated this further by dropping the potions out of my inventory and drinking them one at a time. Sure enough, the game freezes with the same potion, every time. It's totally fine if I sell them. What's going on, though? Please consider this glitch when making the next patch, Bethesda.

It's only affected Fortify Marksman/Damage Magicka, Restore Stamina, and Restore Health so far. I have a feeling that it randomly affects a potion when it's created though. The majority of the potions that I have created work fine, it's the odd few that are glitched, and I have to go through trial and error to figure out which ones do drop or sell, it's quite tedious. Also, I just downloaded 1.3 patch, and it doesn't seem to fix them.

Wow, that's weird. I haven't heard of this before. Hopefully someoen else can? I was thinking maybe a certain ingredient had something to do with it. Or using a certain alchemy lab?

I use fortify potions and restore potions all the time and never had an issue with freezing or crashing on the 360.

@OP; Its possible you data on the HDD is corrupted. Try re-installing the game and re-downloading the patch and also clearing the game cache ( hold LB+RB+X+A at game start).

I'd just sell 'em all off and use the money to buy even more ingredients to make a new, better batch. If the problem still persists, it might be the above post.

That's the confusing part of this glitch, that it could be a number of factors including certain alchemy stations, or ingredients...I've also considered that the problem could be with the perk known as Sinderion's Serendipity. This is an active effect that gives you a 25% chance of creating a duplicate potion when you alchemize one. Although I was encountering this problem before I got that active effect, so that's probably not it.

maybe you can try a new Char quick and go straight too the alchemy stand and check it , also i suggest that you didnt use an exploit cuz that could also mess things up

When it freezes, I can't access the dashboard, or do anything. I have to physically press the power button to restart my system, but my save data is still there. Just thought I'd include this information, if it helps anyone figure out what's going on. Also, I have removed the game from my hard drive, cleared the cache, and reinstalled the patch, but I left the game uninstalled to see if the HDD was the problem. Nope. It still freezes if I drink the wrong potion.
