Do I need all 3 words to summon him? For some reason I have 2 of the words but can't summon him, I've had this glitch since Friday. ._.

Haha it's the beta threads all over again. typical Q&A about Dawnguard! You need all 3 words of his shout unlocked, that means you need 3 dragon souls. MAKE SURE FOR THE LOVE OF TALOS AIM IT AT THE GROUND!!!!!!! Durneviir can only be summoned from the ground, and you need a lot of space

He is not summoned like Odaviing, you shoot the ground like an Atronach summon

I didn't know I had the beta until about Thursday (Yeah... I know..) and I only got into the Soul Cairn before the Beta threads were gone.

Not a glitch, get three words and then shout and the ground not the sky. This was happening to me too, I was annoyed then I was like "Hey, let's try this" and it worked.

Im walking around soul carin blindly. I thought you could summon him? I defeated him so is there a book or somthing i need to read? I found a Summon boneman tome but thats about it.

You get a shout to summon him after you get the Elder Scroll. He will appear outside the boneyard and talk to you.
