I am going to buy Dragonborn and Hearthfire soon. I haven't got any saved characters at the moment because I got bored of Skyrim. Always played as warriors or mages or some hybrid between the two though, so those are boring. Any recommendations for something a bit different and unique?

Argonian assassin/poisoner. The dlc will provide you with plenty of nice blue-grey targets.
