There was a thread a few days ago regarding low ranked players that had the 100% Completion gold suit dog tag.

Understandably, most everyone that replied were upset about it and rallying against cheaters and hackers. AS THEY SHOULD. Certainly, I am in 100% agreement with that view. I have ZERO affinity or sympathy for anyone who cheats/boosts/hacks/glitches.

There is one important detail, however; I have the 100% gold suit dog tag!

I don't know how I got it. I defintely have not achieved it. But I have it, and I can equip it.

Now, I've been playing C2 for 4 days. I'm rank 11 and my K/D is 0.72
Anyone can look at my service record and see that I've only just started playing.

The first time I put the game in my XBOX, before I had played a single game, my service record showed 100%. (all other stats were at ZERO, except dog tags.)

I had: All Flags, all the 'map' dog tags (appear above the flags), I also had the 'Voyeur' dog tag and the gold suit 100% dog tag. (both of those show that I have been awarded them ZERO times).
(edit: on further recollection I believe it was after my first mp match that I got those two dogtags... prior to my first match, I had 65 dog tags, all of the dog tags under the 'General' tab.)

When I played my 1st MP game, my service record reset to 0%, my current is 8%. But I still have the dog tag and can equip it. (but I dont )

I don't know how this happened, but I don't want to be labelled a cheater!

Thanks a lot for bring this to Crytek's attention,, hopefully they will do something about it.

It takes a ABSURDLY amount of time to reach 100% completion so they should remove the Dog Tag from people's account that didn't earn them.

Agreed. I hope Crytek can fix this.
I would like if it could be removed from my account. I would rather have something to look forward to at 100%'
That's why I do not equip it... I know I didn't earn it.

I think everyone that is a low rank getting it is probably due to an issue with the hotfix from the Double XP weekend, but I could be completely wrong. However, I did not notice it prior to the Double XP weekend even once. You said you started playing four days ago. Is that just the Multi portion of it or is that when you first put in the game? Also, was it before or after 9am PST on Thursday (if you remember?) That is when the hotfix was implemented.

4 days ago was when I first put the game in my XBOX. (I guess it's getting close to 5 days, now, I bought the game Thursday the 26th.) My actual time in MP is only 2 hours 21 minutes. I'm at 8%, rank 11.

It was definitely after 9am PST, Thursday when I put the game in, it was after work, around 8pm EST, Thursday. I played my first MP match about 30 minutes later. When I first went into multiplayer I saw the news ticker scrolling the "C2MP Double XP" announcement.

The FIRST time I connected to MP (BEFORE I had ever played a MP match) is when I noticed my service record was showing 100% completion... which I regarded as being very odd. I also had 65 dog tags, which was all of the dog tags under the 'General' tab.

When I finished my first, actual MP game, I got two unlocks; both of them dog tags, 'Voyeur' dog tag and gold suit '100%' dog tag. AND, my service record completion percent was reset to 0% (where it should have been.)

When I first put the game in my XBOX I was prompted to download an update so I'm assuming that is the hotfix you're referring to.

The update you were prompted to download was the first patch for the game, which came out over a month ago. The hotfix is automatically applied when you went in to Multi, there is no downloading screen for it. It would appear it is related to it though since you did have 100% on the Service Record, I know I surely did not have that, maybe related to how the hotfix acts on a new 0% account.

I would hope the devs look in to this, however with the larger fish to fry in regards to other glitches with the game I wouldn't be surprised if it gets put a bit low on the totem pole, so to speak. However, I would certainly agree that I hope they take a look in to it, as it IS the most difficult tag to get in the game, and it would appear likely thousands of gamers just got it for free. :/

Yeah, I hope they can fix it! I don't want the 100% tag yet!

Not only do I feel kinda cheap for having it... does this mean I have nothing to look forward to when I do get 100%?
