Good in-depth History Books?

Hey I've been on a history binge lately and would like to read some interesting bits of history. I'm mostly fascinated with how regular people lived their lives in different societies, what they wore, ate, traded, also what crafts they traded or anythingu nique to them of their culture. I'm usually interested in istory up to the industrial age, usually ancient and medieval, but I would like to focus on places such as India or the mesoamericans which aren't as studied as much such as the Roman empire or medieval britain.

Do you guys know any good books or maybe some interesting biographies that one could read? I'm pretty much interested in any part of history before the 1800s but I just threw some of my interests there to et an idea of what Im looking for.

Also feel free to discuss any period of history or person that really interests you or what have you now.
