Why are there some people hiding behind new created user names for this thread? If I had made mistakes, I will admit it and more than willing to accept criticism and feedback. I am assertive enough to try to offer a solution with care without being a coward hiding behind user names. I'm not trying to get people to destroy any of their PS3. It is a temporary solution that at least works for me. If you think it doesn't work, then don't do it. If you think it does, then a risk well worth it with kudos.

I heard that instead of patching the game. Bethesda was gonna mail all the users ice packs for their ps3s.. Apparently the CPU has a boo boo.

I'm not hiding behind anything myself, I registered to put my issues across which i did in my first thread. I came across yours and suggested something that all. While it is admirable that you are trying to help other users (after all we should) suggesting people put a can or cup of liquid on your console is ill advice. As for cowering behind a username I'm unsure as to what i would be cowering from. Whilst i don't condone flaming or trolling if you put up a suggestion like this people will bite.

Wouldn't the cup fall off the system? Have you taken apart a ps3? The CPU is nowhere near the top of the system... A cup of ice isn't gonna do crap. You could try putting towels around your ps3 to reflow it.. Like I heard that trick worked for the Xbox
