Good gaming headsets (Possibly on a Black FridayCyber Monday

I've had my Logitech H530 headset for many years and it's starting to disintegrate. Microphone and speakers work great still, but the actual material is flaking away. With Black Friday and Cyber Monday right around the corner, and with Christmas coming up, I was thinking of asking for or treating myself to a new gaming headset.

I don't trust a lot of things when it comes to headsets for some reason. I think the reviewers (mainly people on YouTube since they usually turn out to be sponsored by that headset company) are biased. But, I trust you guys, so let's talk!

I'm looking for a wired headset. Preferably over the ear muffs. Doesn't have to be noise canceling. I really like the quality of the microphone on my current headset but it's way too sensitive. It easily picks up room noise, so a noice-canceling microphone would be great.

I kind of swear by Logitech products (keyboard, mouse, headset, webcam, speakers) but I'd definitely be willing to branch out if the price and quality are compelling.

I'd consider getting a desktop microphone and a separate pair of headphones. I have that now and prefer it to a headset, and it also gives you more control between quality of microphone and quality of headphones, rather than having to compromise one for the other.

That's a good point and I have thought about that. I just don't think I have enough space for a stand-alone microphone. Maybe if I found something really enticing and worth it, I could figure a way to make it work, but I have too much stuff for the size of the computer desk already (my two monitors have to be on the same surface as my keyboard and mouse).

Well I'm going to need a new pair of turtle beach headsets my wireless ones stop working---they just wouldn't pair up anymore. I'm going to try and find the wired kind and maybe have a better luck with those.
