Good graphic novels

I like graphic novels. I'm still new enough to the graphic novel thing that I can list all the graphic novels I've read:

The Sandman: Endless Nights, by Neil Gaiman
The Hedge Knight: Sworn Sword, by George RR Martin
Mirror's Edge, by R. Pratchett & M. Smith
Watchmen, by Alan Moore & Dave Gibbons
Fallout New Vegas: All Roads, by Chris Avellone
Chew v.1-3, by John Layman and Rob Guillory
Transmetropolitan: Back on the Street, by Warren Ellis & Darick Robertson
The Winter Men, by Brett Lewis & John Paul Leon
Fevre Dream, by George RR Martin
The Invisibles: Say You Want A Revolution, by Grant Morrison
The Guild, by Felicia Day & Jim Rugg
The Amazing Adventures of the Escapist, by Michael Chabon

So far Transmetropolitan, Winter Men and The Invisibles have been a slog to get through but I've enjoyed the rest (okay, All Roads was pointless and a ripoff). Any recommendations? I'm interested in standalone graphic novels, or anthologies like the Escapist ones, but not serialized comics, mostly because I can't afford it.
