Ok so i have been wanting to live in Solitude until i played it and found out the empire rule it -.-

Any other non-snowy place to live in? Even if it isn't major, still list it.

i would say whiterun

I like Whiterun. Favorite city with Solitude as a close second.

Don't know I live in the Wilderness.

Whiterun seems too..protected if anyone has watched the cartoon "Avatar" then its a bit like the city Ba-sing-se.

I'lll have to deeply explore Whiterun furrther though.

I'd say Markarth gives me more of a feeling of Ba Sing Se.

Helgen though is Na Sing Se for sure though.

I live in the archmage's quarters at winterhold at the moment, but I will be building my own houses in various spots when the construction kit comes out.

Solitude and Whiterun are the major cities. So it'd be good to have houses there.

The Stormcloaks are based out of Windhelm so if thats your alliegance, you could live there, but it's a pretty expensive house second in price only to Solitude's house.

And Riften is on the opposite side of Solitude almost exactly, so having a house in the farthest north, the most central and the farthest south major cities might be a good idea to save on inns in the long run.

I love Markarth. As soon as I can afford it, I'll be living there.

Bought a house in Whiterun. Centrally located, has shops right near the crib, not a bad neighborhood.

Love Whiterun. I stay in the Thieves Guild base in Riften. Haven't been to Soltitude.
