Good name for a Breton wizardwerewolf?

Post » Sat Jun 16, 2012 1:35 am

Ok since the rumor is that in Dawnguard you can contract Lycanthropy in the wild, instead of joining that certain guild it makes no sense for a mage to join.... I can finally make this character.

So what are some good lore friendly names? I was thinking Kevan maybe... And please dont link the uesp page on Breton names, I've already looked over it several times.

I thought about making a Breton Werewolf character before. The name I would have used was "Ulrica" for this female character. "Ulric" is the male equivalent. It's Old or Middle English for "power of the wolf".

The were originally designed to be an "English" sort of race, but then since MW they all turned sort of french.

You do know what Bretons are, don't you? They're a Celtic people from northwestern France, from Brittany. In TES they're generically Western European with French, English, Spanish and Dutch names. Most of them have French names because Bretons are from France, regardless of the fact that they have their own language. Above all you have to remember that they can have whatever names that Bethesda wants them to have.

I know who the Bretons are IRL i have ancestors -its the correct word but it don't sound right- who Bretons... But if you look at the Breton characters from Arena and Daggefall, they mostly had very English sounding family names, then from MW onwards they suddenly had french names .

My Breton Wizard/Werewolf's name is Cornell, ala Castlevania. There's also Connor.

Jauffre Jr.?

Sir Belethor the II?

I kind of miss the old Breton naming scheme from Oblivion. I liked the frenchness of them.

Wizardwerewolfbreton. It is as creative as crowdsourcing a name.
