I think alot of you are forgetting that this is a "First come, first serve" tech test.

If you're the first batch of people that got a key, then that's good. But if you have come this late now, there's not much chances left for you to particpate.

So yeah, better luck next time guys.

I'll tell ya right now - I was one of the first people to get an invitation. I had the email long before any of the popular VG news sites had any knowledge of it. Hell, I had the news up on Overclock.net almost 2 whole days before Joystiq, IGN, Gamespot, or any of them had word about it.
And on alot of forums, no one knew about it until later in the evening or the next day of me getting mine.

I didn't get my key either. So much for first come first serve.

Yeah, I also have a hard time believing it's first come, first serve. I have heard the following, all of them from official sources on gamesas:

- It was first come first serve
- It was random
- It was based on forum activity
- It was based on various other criteria

So really, I don't know what to believe.

I've been an active member of the community since forever and i wasn't invited? Why not?
As it's been mentioned on multiple occasions, this test is very small-scale and unfortunately there just wasn't enough room for everyone. This forum alone has a large number of registered user accounts, so based on this there was no way to invite everyone. If you feel hard done by or not appreciated then please don't take it personally as Crytek love and appreciate all their fans but as this test needed to be run in a precise manner it's unfortunate that only a limited amount of people could join in. How were the actual participants (The ones who received keys) chosen? Was it forum activity? Was it random?
First come first serve, this was stated previously on the forums and in the comments of the news post we put up.
This thread has probably run it's course.

As stated above, when taking into consideration this forum and all the other places that were doing keys as well; GunClub, CombatTesters, etc. It's no surprise (yet, unfortunate for many) that keys were snapped up almost instantly :)

Please feel free to continue this discussion in the FAQ and we'll try to answer your questions as best as we can.

Cheers!
