Alright, so I've had all of this talk about what artifacts or ideas based on Solstheim itself, but I've been starting to think about what are the odds of references more to just the Nerevarine?

I mean, if we think about it in the base game we've already had potential references to the CoC which wasn't that long after the Nerevarine's time, let alone the heavy involvement they had on the island.

Moreover, we've already seen one of the main artifacts the Nervarine required in Morrowind.


During the base game. Now if we take that, coupled with the heavy Dunmer influence/population on Solstheim following the Red Year, it seems likely we are gong to get something involving the Nerevarine even if it's just a reference. I find it hard to believe nothing of him/her survived the Red Year, yet alone the involvement on the island during Bloodmoon.

Now, granted, I know that the rumors started the Nerevarine went to Akavir after the events of Morrowind, but is it really completely likely that all traces got obliterated in the years in between, let alone when some Dunmer are capable of being alive 200 years ago and surviving into the present day?

Different line of thought then we've been thinking about I know, but I just keep thinking about any references or things this may bring to light.

Of course we'll find some references to him/her, but don't expect the quest chain to be involved around the Nerevarine. Recall that outside of the completion of the main quest, Bethesda doesn't have much set in stone for the canon actions of the various game protagonists.

More than anything, IMO, we'll learn from the denizens of Skaal Village, Fort Frostmoth, and Raven Rock how the actions of the Nerevarine affected Solstheim in the long run.

Yea, I'm not thinking the Nerevarine will have anything to do with the Main Quest.

I just felt like we've speculated that to death right now and I"m trying to think of side/quests or possible other references that might be going on.

Change of pace I guess.

Just feels like we are beating to death the small things we know and not trying to think of some of the other possibilities, if that makes sense.
