I actually seriously considered taking the nuka chemist + pyromaniac perk for the Nuka Grenades......but it's not really worth raising science 80+ points plus taking up two perk slots just for that. As much as I LOVE Nuka Grenades...I mean absolutely love them, it's just too demanding to use them for their full potential.

I wonder how the Big Kid and Little-Tots / Low Yield stack up to the Default Mininuke in blast radius

I'm definitely taking the mad bomber perk, and I might raise my science by 15 just for nuka chemist, but I don't know if it is worth it. Either way I'm very excited about the new hunting rifle and brush gun, not to mention the new mini nukes. :chaos:

In the other thread, someone said it's a shame the new hunting rifle isn't a buffalo rifle; it technically is if it's what I think it is, a .45-70 Govt. bolt-action (the three round magazine capacity gives it away). Bolt-actions are the modern form of such due to being reliable and cheap (the expensive doubles cost far too much for the average hunter). It could be in 12.7mm/.44 Magnum, which are still possibly buffalo calibers, but only short range.

The only problem is that this sets the bar way too high for the next Fallout. If they don't have all the same cool ammunition types, gun variety et cetera, people will be pissed.

Speakign of which, why is there no REAL ASSUALT RIFLE.

I don't want no carbine, or battle rifle, I wants me an R91!!! Or you know, a gun that looks assualt rifley and I like better.

It's not for YOU to like. And whats more "Assault Rifley" then the iconic AR-15?

Yeah, that's why they must get Sawyer working on the weapons and weapon balance in the next Fallout.

I wouldn't say that, I do believe the will be putting a LOT of the things that people like from NV into F4 along with stuff people liked from F3. We will see a good mix of things I think, F3 was Bethesda testing the water with Fallout after all.

Will definitely find a reason to add in Nuka Chemist and The Explosives perks for ruin, should be fairly easy considering he loves explosives anyway. :D

So far I'm pretty underwhelmed, towards my interests in the DLC anyway.

With the mention of the GRA Hunting Revolver and the Lil Devil I've pretty much lost any hope of having the Desert Eagle implemented into fallout NV for my enjoyment. And I'm rather disappointed in both the "lil Devil" and the GRA Hunting Revolver. The "Lil Devil" is nothing more than a scaled down 12.7MM pistol model with improved specs; and it would have been a better idea to implement mods for the Hunting Revolver instead of taking up a slot in the weapons list. This way it wouldn't feel like a copy/paste job...

Unless the Desert Eagle makes it's appearance within the last 6 weapons that are waiting to be released, I've really got no interest in buying this DLC.

The unique Hunting Rifle is in .308.

It's uncommon to find bolt-action rifles in rimmed calibers (e.g. .45-70 Gov't, .44 Magnum). It's also uncommon to find lever-action rifles in rimless/rebated rim calibers (e.g. .308).

Yeah, typically due to the rifles fireing mechanism's being designed for such ammunition. Even if rechambered, the preformance of the rifle would suffer, and the mechanism would degrade too fast. I know a fair bit about guns.

Then you guys should have put the Mosin Nagant in the game with a unique variant in the game for the .45-70!!! I know they make them to!!!

I'm not the only one who was asking for it, since you want to be aggressive about it.

And if you aren't interested in something why spend your money on it? You may be excited over the new energy weapons, explosives and melee weapons; but I'm not and I don't see anything in the DLC list so far that really peaks my interest.

So true. I also wouldn't mind a DE with a long barrel, scope, and laser mode
