i just got fallout 1 and 2 and it seems when ever i try to play them i get weird blotches coloured all over the screen, the pixels all go weird colors, i can play other games fine.

what could i do?

That's a common issue with both of those games. For myself, alt-tabbing back out to windows and then re-entering the game will fix it whenever the problem pops up.

You could also try right-clicking on the .exe file, click properties, on the window that shows up click the Compatibility tab, and then just check all the boxes and Apply. Worked for me with Fallout and for some other old games too.
