Graphics, Magic Animations. Bow Animations

Post » Fri Oct 11, 2013 6:03 am

Hello there,

I'd like to know, will graphics get better? I mean they are a bit disappointing after all. I knowi It can't be VERY good but it needs to be improved I guess.

Also, In gameplay videos, I saw bow andimations are just ''weird''. Unlike in any of Elder Scroll Games. I can't find right words to describe it.

And, what about magic animations? For example, lightning. In gameplay videos it was alwayts third person and character was raising his hand. Is t his gonna change?

At last, what about houses? Can we buy houses, or maybe more than houses like inns? I'm guessing that we are going to build our homes outself, but where? Anywhere? Or are they gonna be in city?

I was almost forgetting. Will be more locations? Wiki says there is a few locations. Can I go any city I want in Skyrim, or certain cities?

Thanks for reading.

Graphics are fine, the animations could use some work though. They told us they're working on fixing them. Best we can ask really.

The video you saw was the beta they put the beta out for a reason it's obviously not the complete version and it will get better secondly no there will be no houses at launch and I drastically doubt you'll be seeing them at all

The game is currently in development and those Beta Videos are from a long time ago. You can not judge much graphics wise at this stage of the game development as it is mostly going to change, as in improve as it gets closer to release.

I don't see why everyone is bashing the graphics on TESO...I personally favor the style they're going with, it resembles the same engine as Star Wars The Old Republic, but more updated with lighting and detail...not all video games have to go for realism, if all games fell into the style of "realistic" where would be the originality in any of that? As far as I've seen on screenshots and gameplay I prefer these graphics over Skyrim's anyday, just sayin...it's got more color and more life than Skyrim's slightly darker and moody look...I still enjoy the game though...to add I even enjoyed Oblivion more with the bright graphics alone..

On the other hand...I can see where you have a problem with the now animation, thy may have created it in this fashion due to the faster paced gameplay...I have no problem with it considering I am all about swords, two handed daggers, and axes...but it could use a tad bit of a smooth update..

Bow animations have greatly improved from one build to the next, I expect by the time release comes their won't be much to complain about, not to mention High res texture being implemented for the first person view in the works. Many people forget that fist person was latched on at the last minutes and only recently started getting the polish applied.

Still can't wait to have my way with first person players in pvp.
