I am really enjoying it so far but I find it unbelievable how bad some of the textures are.

It is my only real complaint (other then the constant bugs and glitches...)

For instance I escape the opening dungeon for the first time and I'm wowed by the amazing view and art design. I then walk up to one of the rock cliffs, to stand at the edge, and I am instantly drawn out of the moment by the awful (ps1 quality) textures on some of the rocks. They are so bad it is like I am looking at a small google pic zoomed in by 400%

Other than that I am really enjoying the game! (but dislike the removal of water walking )

Which platform are you on? The textures on pc are pretty good most of the time. Even on xbox it's not bad, just the lighting is really bad on xbox.

PS3. I assume most of the bugs and glitches are because it is a console port, but I don't think that explains the bad textures. (some are really good, but some really awful which makes me wonder if it is down to laziness (for lack of a better word)).
