great game to play while waiting for battlefield 3

and i don't mean multiplayer. i mean single player, abusing the fact you can shoot a pistol 5-6 times with a silencer before coming out of stealth. and AI stand still, waiting to be shot in the head.

in the words of the most honorable team fortress 2 sniper...
"thanks for standing still... wanker"

Meh, the only attractive thing about BF2 was PR, and since they're not doing PR for BF3, i'll pass and keep playing Crysis 2 and Arma 2 thanks

BC2 was horrible. Took them like half a year to fix the hit detection. BF3 looks promising though.

I dunno what alternate universe you live in, but if you could mkae BFBC2 even HALF as good as C2, i'd think twice about getting rid of it

Wrong. look how many bfbc2 players are still playing the game online. compare with "Crysis 2". unless your talking about single player then yeah crysis 2 is a little bit better. but thats all the credit "Crysis 2" gets. a little bit better than bfbc2 singleplayer campaign.

I love BC2 but after playing for about a year straight I got bored of multiplayer. Crysis 2 provides a good multiplayer alternative till Battlefield 3 for me. Have never played COD multiplayer so will try that too this year.

i played since cod4 to cod mw2 and didn't even bother with cod bo as i know it would be same ol shxx.

bf is something diff. with class difference and force players to coop in play. something cod and crysis missed.

I don't know how long bf system can pull it off but bf system definitely have longer appeal and depth in gameplay.

Actually, I'll prob be done with this game if we don't get DX11/Editor.

I'll be heading to Duke Nukem Forever if this is not resolved. Last game from Crytek.

We all know that "team play" doesn't actually happen in BC2, no matter which way you try and spin it. Boxes for ammo and health doesn't count as teamwork, if you want actual teamwork go play BF2PR. In BC2 you spawn, walk 2 steps forward, get shot by GOL magnum...that and the ridiculous tunnel vision, the fact that your weapon blocks out the entire right hand side of the screen, hit detection is still stupid, its the most frustrating time i've ever had in multiplayer.

Don't get me started on how lame the single player was...

Perhaps, i don't try and hide the fact that i have trouble playing the game, doesn't help when weapon classes are broken enough to allow One Man Armies in a "team game", but you can't hide the fact the story pales in comparison to...pretty much anything, even MW2.

When you play with a group of friends in a squad, changes everything.

besides, battlefield games were never about single player. bc1 was a **** console game with a crappy story. nobody bought bc2 for the single player. it was horrible. it was all about MP.

Why compare games like CoD (C2) to battlefield anyway? The whole point of C2 was to bring nanosuit on consoles, and no one can really argue about Crytek and EA denying the port a lie anymore. Disregarding all the bugs and technical problems, it does it's job pretty well.

It would be better to compare C1 and BF3.

it wasn't until battlefield: bad company that battlefield had a story. all the battlefield games until then didn't even have singleplayer story as an option, and they did fine.

to each his own, i guess, and yes a good singleplayer is a bonus. but a bad one shouldn't detract from the game experience, unless its a game thats single player centered which battlefield bc2 is most certainly not.

that said, i agree with you. the campaign was really lame. but the multiplayer was fun, if you played with friends.

sorry to burst your bubble but bf3 gameplay looks just like call of duty style, all u do is run and shoot, nothing else. hide behind a rock and then pop out and shoot people all it is. crysis 2 is so many more levels beyond these bf and cod games its not even close there so many more things u gotta do in crysis 2 and to top it off you can climb walls and stuff

Yeah , Crysis 2 got many stuffs to do, such as kick someone's car to hit the guy on the suit or even punch him on his **** face !
In CoD or BFBC , what you guys "CAN" do ? T_T use some little car to boom someone ass or what ?!?
