Hi guys,

I hope Bethesda reads these, because I am a huge TES fan and have been playing since Morrowind.

I noticed that there were several small things in this game that made me scratch my head. I will list a few with examples.

1. Item weights are off. An 3 lb bear pelt becomes 4 x 2 lb leathers. That makes 8 pounds of leather made from 3 pounds of pelt. Magic!

2. Dragons are tough to beat but giants are near impossible.

3. Stealthy characters are worthless in most stand up fights. I feel like light armor is just slightly more useful in combat than fancy Christmas wrapping.

4. Its harder to find places to create potions and enchantments than it is to find ingredients and materials. I have to have Lydia along just to carry all the mountain flowers and butterflies.

5. Where is my Spear of Bitter Mercy?

6. Why doesn't a stamina buff increase your carrying capacity as well?

I will add more as the game progresses, but I can't wait till some miracle modder makes an unofficial patch to fix things. I don't think Bethesda will ever get around to fixing it themselves.

1. Yeah its magic.

2.I find that giants do a lot of damage, but have much less health, and of course they don't fly. You can also seek shelter from dragons, there is usually a ruined tower nearby you can hide in.

3.Stealthy characters worthless in stand up fights... don't do stand up fights then. Bring a companion outfitted with some heavy armour if you feel you will be getting in some unavoidable stand up fights.

1 - Hmm... While this is not exactly a game-breaking thing... You have a kind of a point.

2 - Dragons were driven out of Morrowind by Cliff Racers. Giants receive tributes from land owners.

3 - If you is stealth, why you is in a Stand Up Fight?

4 - You always can go to a City, and even in the wilderness (and dungeons) there are a lot of Alchemy Tables (There are some Enchanting Altars too)

5 - ...

6 - I don't now.

"7" - None of those things listed by you (Specially number 5) would EVER (Maybe number 6, but just maybe) be "fixed" (Alas, they aren't broken in the first place) by any medium/big game company.

ummmm where to start.
Spears also weren't in Oblivion.
There seem to be more alchemy places in this game than I would ever need (much better than hauling all your own alchemy crap around as in Oblivion).
I kill giants with 3 sneak attacks with a freaking weak [censored] bow.......
I use sneak attacks to one hit people with daggers then almost no "stand-up fights" occur



Are we playing the same TES V Skyrim?

You're apparently playing the broken version i guess. What level are you? Giants don't even come nearly close to dying in 3 hits for me with the sneak bonus on all 3 hits.

3 I haven't had to much trouble in a stand up fight and i play as a stealth char in light armor. I do have Lydia taking the brunt of the attacks though. I have her stay back while i can do whatever killing i can undetected then send her in.
4 I always bring my junk back to my house anyways so i haven't really noticed.
