When picking alchemy ingredients from both the garden and the botany wing, will I still receive double the amount if I use that perk? Or is that only with wild ingredients.

You get five pieces from your garden instead of three if you have the green thumb perk. So 2 extra with the perk.

Three? I only get two. Does it depend on what you're growing? I've only planted leeks so far.

I get 5 glowing mushrooms from the garden without the perk.

I also get 5 glowing mushrooms with no perk. Depends on what you are growing but alchemy ingredients usually give 4 or 5. I am not that keen on growing vegetables, I have plenty of them. Although I have a sudden need for giant size carrots for a home decorating project, might see if I can grow them.
