So my home is Lakeview but I also purchased the Pale property and became thane there as well. I built a small home there. Just a cabin for staying on long trips...

Well for some reason now I keep catching Gregor the housecarl from the pale sneaking out of my lakeview home in the morning. It seems to happen only when I sleep in the Lakeview home and run out the front door right away. I will see him exiting and then he will be outside giving me a standard housecarl greeting before wandering off.

I haven't tried following him yet but I assume he walks back to the Pale. If I fast travel there I will usually find him patrolling. if I go back to Lakeview he will be gone.

My first guess was this was a glitch caused by not having a finished house on the pale land but it happened even after finishing the cabin there. Maybe I need to build the big house but I don't want to.


My theory? He's having a fling with either Lydia or Rayya... Maybe they met in Housecarl training school or something?

wtf? Your suppose to be watching my Windstad home. I think I figured it out. I fully built Windstad and only paid him to get me the horse,cow and chicken. Uthgerd is my steward is Lakeview. She is a lazy good for nothing steward. because she and Gregor are to busy doing other things together and she spent the money I gave her on wine.

Seriously though I have no idea why I see him leaving that house. I don't use it much anyway.
