Also, has editions with all dlc been weeded for bugs? I'm lining up games to play and I want to restart GTA IV probably this winter. Had a game-breaking bug where I couldn't get into the helicopter on the last mission, but I want to do a more thorough playthrough, anyway. Is the dlc any good?

I liked em. Both have a theme of maturing. Similar gameplay, but new weapons. Less customization however. More cars. More enter able buildings. Worth it, IMO.

The Ballad of Gay Tony is my favorite DLC ever. Basically a game in and of itself.

It's one of mine too - Anthony is one of my favourite characters in any game ever. But both DLCs are excellent. No reason not to buy them.

They could be. At least, I like the premises a little more than the original game. But spend fifteen minutes playing either and my PC is ready to explode. If you're not picking it up on a console, I'd make sure your computer is well above specs. Rockstar really effed up when optimizing these two.

Seconded. I liked how it brought back some of the over-the-top fun the GTA series is famous for.

I have both. I like them, and to fully appreciate the main story of the original, you need to play these two. Preferably in order of release.
