I love this game I really do but..

Im using the fused core 2.1.1 config. Game runs silky smooth, but I have to turn off the vsync. Texture pop in is badly evident. Anyone have a gtx 580 3gb and eliminate texture pop in yet?
And what happened to releasing a texture pack?

Any help is greatly appreciated thank you.
