Got into a bit of trouble with the guards and decided to run. Turns out, even though i've run the entire length of Skyrim (literally) they are still following me, making it impossible to sleep, wait or fast travel because that damn message pops up. any fixes?

On the PC? No idea if it works, but it's the same engine so I'd give it a go:
