I went to hand in the quest for slaying the dragon... I accidentally hit "Z" In turn I did my shout... which made the guards kill me... over... and over... and over again... all my saves they are attacking me... the only save they are no attacking me Is at the point where I am searching for the first dragon related item (quest) from the dragon enthusiast at whiterun... how the HELL do I get them to stop... for all i'm seeing I've wasted my money... how the hell do I fix this? I see on the net blah blah use console command blah blah but no where links me to the correct code... I sheath/unsheath/sheath my weapon... does [censored] all... I've used all my food/pots trying this and my health is so low now i get 1 shot... respawn... 1 shot... what the [censored] am I to do...

for a start, turn the difficulty down to novice, that should give you a chance. check your stats - do you have a bounty? if so try opening the console, type "paycrimegold 0 0 000267EA" (without the inverted commas) - this will pay off the bounty. or to wipe the bounty, open the console and type "player.setcrimegold 0 000267EA" (again without the commas)

Its not the games fault for your inconvenience, and not really a problem that the game is unable to play. Try running away, sheathing your weapon "WHEN THEY ARE NEAR YOU" so you can talk to them or try reloading a autosave, besides you should of saved it regularly so this sorta thing doesn't happen.

This is why you don't run the game on just a couple of save slots and an Autosave. Turn off the Autosaves and get in the habit of saving before you go someplace.

This for sure. You should be saving manually.

I tried both nothing seems to work, The guards at whiteguard outside Jarls room dont attack me but as soon as i go inside to hand in the quest to jarl they all kill me again.

It happened to me once on a console, and eventually reloading the same saved game allowed me to pay the bounty rather than continue getting attacked. It was frustrating, and only happened to me once in 200+ hours of game play with 2 characters. Just be vigilant. Also leaving lydia behind so she didn't automatically attack people helped make sure i didn't get stuck in the constant attack mode.

This will not be the last time that guards and others get in front of your attacks. It's something you need to be careful about as you play this game. From the sounds of things, you are not that far along into your game, so going back to that earlier save shouldn't be as big a deal as you are making it out to be. I know, it's still a big deal to lose any amount of playing time, but hey, it happens. It's not the games fault. Save your game manually before anything that will affect your game. You will become quite adept at figuring out when these opportunities happen. I save a lot, and it has paid off in spades on several occasions. People often talk about losing many hours of game time. Well, save more often and don't use the quicksave to do it because that uses the same save slot and will overwrite the previous quicksave.

My bounty resulted from killing some thalmor that no one saw me do out in the wastes, but again, i got through it eventually. I think it took the right guard to be there to try to arrest me rather than any old guard. I would be outside whiterun and fast travel to whiterun so you are inside the city. the outside guards would always attack and never arrest me.

Perhaps try figuring it out for more than one try before complaining on this forum. What an ungrateful jerk. Moderator should delete this whole thread.
