I guess we got the open beta instead...

I was browsing this forum and seen a lot of the same bugs that were caused by Dawnguard. That makes me wonder if bethesda just gave us the open beta version instead of a less buggy version.I would have waited a little while for them to sort the major bugs out so it is actually playable.A patch type thing better get released soon because I'm sure I'm not the only one getting annoyed about this.

What are you're thoughts?Do you think they just made all of us the beta testers?

Pretty much, needless to say i was expecting them to do something like this.
If none of the bugs get fixed or very few of them get fixed before Hearthfire then i will not be purchasing another DLC again.

It would have been cool if I could have been one of the free beta testers; I mean that would've made it worth it at least lol.

All in all, I'm trying to be level headed about this, which may be easier for me because I didn't end up having any game breaking bugs, but it seems kind of... well, maybe unsavory(?) to release a patch if you KNOW it has game breaking bugs in it. I couldn't wait to get my hands on Dawnguard, but all of this stuff that's come to light took a turn towards ugly.

This will all be worth it if they get around to releasing a patch for the DLC that allows you to marry Serana as a sort of peace offering. If they do that, then I will be extremely happy, and ready to play whatever they put out next. Now, the only question that remains is when they will do this... hopefully before the end of July!

The marrying business is unnecessary in my mind, it's a design choice.

The bugs due to incompetence or disregard for us as paying customers irks me.

Do we really need multiple topics on this? One is bad enough. It's a Bethesda game and there are some bugs. in other news, the sky is blue.

Maybe they should work on that... BTW: the PS3 players have felt like beta testers sense November so while it may not be a new concept it is still unacceptable.

The real issue, in my mind, is are they EVER going to fix it? It's DLC.

I believe someone pointed out that Shivering Isles got a patch, but that's the only DLC I've ever downloaded that was patched.
