I see many people complaining constantly on the forums about giants and how difficult they are to kill. However, i find them to be extremely easy as they are very predictable. Here is my strategy.

5-Step Guide to Killing a Giant
1. Use ranged weapon to initiate combat (i.e., destruction spell or archery)
2. Keep hitting the giant until they get within 5 yards
3. Once they are near, they will raise their club in the air.As soon as this motion begins use Whirlwind shout directly towards him go through him and avoid damage (sprinting works as well)
4. Once they bring down their club they usually remain staggered for a short time so at this time continue to hit him with your ranged attacks
5. Rinse and repeat

They usually drop close to 200 gold and carry a large amount of pelts and other items which can be sold. I farm them constantly as they take very little to kill and by perfecting this strategy, i rarely every take any damage. Key is to not attempt to take them on 1v1 in a melee fight as their strikes are very powerful when they connect. Good luck to you guys and happy giant hunting!
