True, but while we're being nitpicky, I specified "America" which is short hand for the United States of America (to us lazy Americans, lol).... because technically America is 2 continents... North America and South America.

Nope. America "technically" means USA in current English vernacular. To refer to both s/n america, the word would be "americas". And I found this caravn trick awhile ago, bit definitely think it falls into the exploit category since the computer will play for more caps than they have if you play them again and again.

I have not seen that yet. I've started with them around 5 thousand and taken them down to where they have around 25 caps and are betting 12 at a time. (Maybe 13 or 14 if you raise them.) Typically their bid starts out at half their credits and only goes up slightly over that if you raise them.

Or you could just go to the Vikki and Vance Casino, buy some chips, cash them in and because they stay in your inventory after you have cashed them in, you can keep on cashing them as often as you like. I went there with less than 500 caps, kept buying ang cashing in until I had 10000 chips and all I have to do when I want more caps is go back and get 10k at a time. If the cashier is too stupid to realise, its not my problem lol

Ran into this same exact bug...the chips replenish in your inventory...i use it like an in game credit card. A credit card with no spending limit :celebration:

Is there anyway that isn't so complicated ? This seems a lot of effort I think I'll just stick to the casinos

What's complicated about this? Buy stuff from a vendor, and then win it back. Get lots of caps that way.

I suppose so but surely if you win all the vendors money you cannot sell the items back to him for cash ....vendors never seem to restock caps for me.

True, but you can sell the items to other vendors. I think after 3 days the replenish their stock of stuff.

You sell it to a different vendor. Also, they will restock their caps and inventory every few days.

Another discovery: the different CND item buy/sell bug is still there, you can grind some caps if you are short of it at all......

You could also just give yourself 10 Luck (or intense train to ten luck) and bet all of your caps in Caravan every time. Chances are, if you know how to play Caravan at all, you should win 100% of the time.

With 10 luck go and play slots. Using a couple of casino mods (Better Casinos and Casino Unbanner), I earned almost 3 million caps in about an hour of play.

Actually the major difference between getting caps via this method and other means is the ammo and skill magazines you can acquire at the same time. Like i have written, the best part is 50+ c4. BOOM.
