Guilds and fammilies

Seeing how trade will be part of guilds, this might end up with having mega sized guilds, just to facilitate trade.. But for many people these guilds might just be to huge..

Maybe they should have something on top of guilds, something like families, where every character can be part of a single fammily, which would function as the small and social guilds in other mmos and have mostly a social function..

I think this could be a solution, this way everyone could have an active fammily and an active guild at the same time.

I'm still not exactly sure how major guilds (i.e. fighters guild, mages guild, thieve guild etc . . .) will interact with personal guilds (i.e. someone makes a charter and forms their own guild).

Also, what is the deal with cross-faction guilds? I mean how can an Argonian, an Orc, and an Altmer be in the same guild? (I understand if all three are a members of the fighters guild, or mages guild, but does that mean the major guilds are cross faction guilds?)

If you create a guild in your faction it seems like you will have members of other guilds such as the Fighter's Guild, Mage's Guild, Thieves guild, etc . . . Am I getting this right? I am a little confused about the guild system.

If i am correct you can not have personal crossfaction guilds, but you can have characters in all 3 alliances, but only a total of five of these guilds.. So if you have three guilds in the Daggerfall convenant that would only leave room for 1 guild in each of the two other alliances,.

To my knowledge the fighters and the mages guilds have no relation at all to player created guilds.
