Guilty Movie Pleasures

Mine would be Chronicles of Riddike, I don't know why I love this movie. I just do. Its a space opera that isn't Star Trek or Star Wars and I love the artstyle of the Necromonger armor. Medieval knights with laser guns and shock staffs. Yes.

Nothing wrong with that, I guess.

Flash Gordon
This, along with The Fifth Element. I watch them whenever they're on. They kinda just thought "we have Bruce Willis and Milla Jovovich. Let's not even pretend to be serious, let's make Die Hard in Space!"

Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior, is another one. Being a Fallout fan it's one of my favourites, and I have to watch it. It is brilliant, there is no substance in it to go wrong with. They took a few actors and extras out into the desert in punk attire, smashed some battered cars and buggies together and filmed the resulting carnage and made a huge return on their tiny budget. It never gets old.

Any of Schwarzenegger's action movies, from Commando to Total Recall.

Austin Powers 1 and 2 (I find the rest awful, but those two make me smile everytime).

I watch Die Hard and The Shawshank Redemption as often as possible and I'm not really ashamed of it. Also, I like Navy SEALS with Charlie Sheen for its so-bad-it's-good ability and explosions.

I enjoy watching famously bad movies. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plan_9_from_Outer_Space and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robot_Monster are my favorites. I want to see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battlefield_Earth_(film) someday too...

There are some movies that I'm not sure qualify as guilty pleasures.

Mine is "The Brain That Wouldn't Die". It is the only movie I have seen that deserves the title 'so bad it's good'.

Have you ever heard of the Deathstalker quadrilogy? I have been meaning to watch them.

Though Conan the Barbarian (1982) is not a guilty pleasure. I make sure to bring it up how much I love it whenever possible! :D

I need to watch some more '80s sorcery films - the acting is bad, the camera work is melodramatic, and the special effects are corny but they're admirable sense of adventure makes them so lovable!

Son in Law with Pauly Shore and My Cousin Vinny.

I don't watch many movies, or much TV in general but if I come across either of these I am done doing anything until they are over.
