Is anyone else having trouble? Will sneak up behind someone ready to shoot them, aim gun will start firing then it will just stop halfway through for no reason.

Another variant of this is it will melee in the middle of a firefight even though I didn't press the right thumb stick.

Is my controller broken or would changing the buttons (eg make B melee and Right thumb stick crouch) help?

Or is it a bug?

Great game, though and I'm not getting the bad lag/hit detection talked about in most of the games I play!

I think it might be that you are sub conciously panicing at close range without even realising it, try a different controller because its never happened to me.

Cheers. I'm pretty sure I'm not pressing melee. Even if I was that wouldn't explain the gun stopping firing even when its not out of ammo requiring the trigger to be released and pulled again?

I've had the gun not shoot before, so annoying. It's almost like it can't keep up with the other actions going on at the same time.
And I know what you mean about the melee problem. But I agree with KR4KKEN, I think you'll be pressing the right stick without realising it. I know that's the problem for me.

happened to me as well. aimed, was holding the trigger down and nothing. cost me a death. crytek you owe me one kill.
