I had a thought about the thu'um

You wont be able to use the power of the thu'um in ESO, am I correct?

But what about the draugr? In the nordic ruins of Skyrim there are a lot of draugr, and Im pretty sure they have been there a long enough to be in the timeline that ESO is in.
So will some of the draugr in ESO wield the voice as they do in Skyrim (the game)?

Good point.

I suppose its certainly possible. I doubt it will be implemented though since if they had a thu'um mechanic, they would probably place it in the nords racial skill line as well.

The Draugr from Morrowind didn't shout either. So maybe the lore explanation is that Draugr, as former members of the dragon cult, are only able to shout when dragons (maybe just the divine Alduin) are supporting them.

It could also be possible that most of the Dragur that were former Dragon Cult followers all did not have the power of the Voice. Sure, they all have it in Skyrim but I think that was just game design. Same with the Dragur in Morrowind, the thought was not conceived at the time.

Having it in TESO, enemy or player, is a 50/50 possibility to me, but IMHO I have a slight feeling that it may be some crap like "Reach level 80 to learn one Dragon Word" to compensate the whole idea of learning the voice for years.

I am just throwing thoughts around, so please no lore nazis.

There might possible be Draugr in this game that use the Thu'um. I would be surprised if there weren't honestly, but I don't know if there were lore implications on why Draugr in Skyrim were able to though. But we know that players, themselves, will not be able to use the Thu'um at all.

What do you mean by the bolded part? The thu'um goes back to TES Redguard ear lore, prior to Morrowind even.

It could be though that only certain draugr could shout and those draugr were dormant until Alduin returned.

You know that the teams that made Redguard and Morrowind were different right? That they started production at about the same time?

Not true. Michael Kirkbride, for instance, had a heavy hand in writing both of them.

Why only in the nordic racial line? Afaik all playable races can use thu'ums.
