So, I took my sweet time creating this new Nord female character, she was to be my new Shield-maiden. So, I began the game and escaped the block, ran through the tower and got to the point where I had to chose to enter with Ralof or Hadvar. I just couldn't decide what I wanted to do, Imperial or Rebellion. So, I just stood there waiting until I could decide.

Then, this shadow came upon me, and I heard a great thud and the ground shook. The BLOODY DRAGON landed and spewed fire on me, chewed me up and tossed me away.

I just sat here amazed. I never knew the bloody thing would do that hahaha.

I had this with my second character. I forgot which I chose the last time and wanted to go the other way and just stood there contemplating... WTF!

Heh. I did this too with my latest character, but I was sorta doing it on purpose to see what would happen if I hung around near the dragon too long! I was very crispy afterwards.

The same thing happened to me: Ralof had gotten hit by ballistic rubble, and got slammed to a knee, from the high damage. He was slowly crawling along as Hadvar and him had their back and forth, and then I had to choose. Except, you know, I couldn't, because Ralof was taking his sweet time moving. He finally got to his feet, and SPRINTED as hard as he could, faster than I could catch, and the dragon landed right in front of me. I was planning on following Ralof, but that son of a [censored] had planned that, and he was trolling me, so I went with Hadvar.

Hehe, I've been killed by the Dragon in the opening sequence too.

There is a bit where Hadvar says "stay close to the wall" and after that you run through a burned house and into a courtyard area with some archers and a mage shooting arrows and flame into the sky. I lost track of which Imperial was Hadvar because they were all wearing similar armour and then got fried by the dragon as I was standing next to one of the other Imperials.

Lol. The first time I played I stood around listening to the Dragon talk wondering to myself what it was saying. Then it ate me and I had to start again.

Yep, I've been munched. Hmm. Do I go with the Stormcloak escaped prisoner and risk aligning myself with a bunch of targeted rebels? Or do I trust the kind man who just went along with an attempt to behead me? I'd probably be useless in a real life jailbreak.

I thought I was the only one that got killed by the dragon in the very tutorial quest. Glad I'm not
