Haiku Topic

Post » Thu Aug 23, 2012 6:14 am

Earlier this week I made a topic about the fits of rage I experience, and the dark places my mind goes to when I experience one. I got some good advice from everyone here, and I've found what works best for me, is writing haiku poems. I stole this from my favorite movie, Fight Club, because... well it's my favorite movie and I love just about everything about it.

I'd like to share a few of them with you, here, and would like to encourage anyone who feels like writing one, to share it as well. These are incredibly personal, and I advise you now to be careful with negative criticism. If you can't tell, I'm a little unstable and might view some of it as flaming.

Endless suffering
Powerless in the struggle
Tragedy ends all

Abandon all hope
The sorrow of life on earth
Death is a blessing

Wallow in pity
Ungreatfull for all I have
Blinded by the pain

Time is fleeting
Reality ebbs and flows
The future is yours

Air conditioning
Coldest in the summer heat
Ice under my skin

Actions based in hate
Violence and pain abound
Ends where it begins

Slaves with white colars
The master feeds upon them
Freedom is a lie

Hair blows in the wind.
After years, there is still wind.
Sadly, no more hair.

The Green Sentinel
Stands watching in the breeze.
Watch him sneeze.

I did it! I think.....
