Hair Physics

Post » Mon Nov 26, 2012 2:29 am

Now before anyone starts throwing paragraphs of their opinions and calling me names, I would like to say this post is not me begging Betheseda to waste their time on something as pointless as Hair Physics, nor am I wishing for a DLC to give this possibility. It is merely to express myself and have my idea heard. That is all. (:

Anyway, to the point! Everytime I climb to the summit of some ferocious mountain I imagine my hero taking his helmet off and seeing his hair flow heroicly in the cold wind looking out at the land, ready to take it on. There are also times where I get into a fight with a group of bandits and will occassionally go into third person if they're easy and the threat isn't serious and imagine the helmet getting knocked off my character or just seeing his hair moving around a little hanging out the back of his helmet. Swinging his sword into one bandit, then quickly turning around to kill another. I know we don't need hair physics, and I know it's probably a lot harder than it would seem to bring it into the game. Especially because than fans would complain that the physics for flags should be improved and clothing to have physics and even cloaks and capes to be added. It would get out of control, lol. Just a neat idea I'd like to see. (:

I think it's about time we have clothes and hair physics especially with the ps4 and 720 coming out sometime in 1-2 years. I'm so sick of clipping with clothing and I would like to see hair act like real hair.

One game that made me appreciate Hair Physics was Fable 1. ( The other ones were horrible in comparison. ) But I liked seeing my hair moving around as I dodged an attack and rolled over to the other side of him and then shoved my sword throug his chest, lol.

I am one of those annoying fans who want both hair and cloth physics in TES to satisfy me aesthetically. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOlQ_YeR6Gc

This. I have a feeling that TES VI will have hair and clothe physics.

Yes I'd totally love that. I haven't played many games but I like Geralt's hair in The Witcher.

And maybe with cloth physics the poor citizens of Tamriel can finally sleep under the sheets and not on top of them :hehe:
