2 Handed Warrior Range?

Post » Fri May 11, 2012 2:40 pm

Well this is my 4th char since i got the game and i can say i just can make up my mind on what i want. I do enjoy the 2 handed apporach with heavy armor but i have seen that in dragon fights you need some type of ranged attack making me want to level up archery or magic. But then if i think of leveling archery lets say shouldnt i level up sneak and light armor too since i would be using that more? Plus i have allready tried a mage setup and there are so many possibilities however you get no defence that you would get with a warrior. So i dont know if im making any sense but if u do please give me advice id rather start over AGAIN when im only lvl 8 rather than getting to level 20+

first stop worrying and have fun. Don't worry about power building and making your character as perfect as possible

secondly, you don't need archery for dragons, just wait for it to get on the floor, then beat it up as much as you can. Power attacks stun it slightly so use them.

My character is a Wood Elf that dominantly specializes in stealth, but I also have a high level in two hand. When things get for real, I take out my Orcish Greatsword and show every body what time it is ... and if that's not enough, I even have enough destruction skill to do a little damage with that as well.

It doesn't matter what race you are ... you can be anything you want. My character is capable of stealth, ferocious power attacks with a massive sword, and destruction magic.

It's truly in your hands

however if u specialize in stealth doesnt that mean you have light armor? i mean thats great but when its time to take out the sword u get demolished because you are not suitable for that situation? i understand where ur getting tho like jst because i am 2 handed now that doesnt mean i cant switch over to some type of restoration spells now

i started out with just 2h and light armor w/ a little bow.
now my guy tries to open up fights w/ a sneak attack bow then charge in for the other people w/ my 2h sword.
your character can ADAPT, let it happen ;)

i found that the ATTACK SPEED SHOUT is beneficial for 2h style combat. a lot better than fo rash dahh or w/e (the lame wind blow).
