So...Ive been playing without a compass / minimum interface for the immersion factor. I enjoy not having a compass on the top of my head telling me where to go and pointing me the right direction but sometimes it gets a bit annoying.

As I was playing I thought, what if I could pull out a map or a compass in my hand the size of a regular map instead of pressing M to look at the huge world map covering the whole screen

Is something like this possible or is there already something similar to this? Sorry if theres already
