I've got plans to sit around watching documentaries, playing some KotOR, and other nerdy, single-person activities. Valentines Day... pfft, what a useless holiday. :tongue:

...alas, while I'm not into gifts or "romance" in general, a small bag of chocolate cookies or other tasty sweets...they would be/do get eaten. Oh yes. So it's a good thing that Valentine's Day is only once a year. Haha.

The only reason me and my girl are celebrating Valentine's this year is because we just hooked up less than two weeks ago and we want to do something special for eachother. We both agree that under normal circumstances Valentine's day is pretty lame. And as promised we will be keeping our celebrations private. Two days of veging out, watching movies and fooling around.

But since this is a Valentine's thread I guess I'll abuse the opportunity to go on about her a little bit. I met her on okcupid after about a year of dud results. We have so much in common it's not even funny, right down to the clothes we wear and the length of our hair. I spent a couple of days with her last week and took her to a local state park where we walked around for a couple of hours. Then we went back to my place and layed around watching movies, holding her in my arms most of the time. I didn't get up the nerve to kiss her until it was about time for her to leave, but damn, what a kiss! She lives 150 miles away so I felt I had to make it count. She texted me several times after complaining about how she had to spend all that time at work all hot and bothered. Then she started texting me with details of all the things she plans to do to me the next time she sees me. Needless to say, I think this Valentine's is going to be one to remember.

Oh, and did I mention this is the first girlfriend I've had in... forever?

My girlfriend and I had our "Valentines Day" in Glasgow today. It was [censored], because Glasgow is [censored], and he had to get the hell out of there ASAP. Were only there for a gig last night anyway. Valentines Day has been postponed until next weekend.
