Has anyone discovered the secrets of the Midden under the College yet? I've found the journels but they're not very helpful, all I know is the stage with the Oblivion symbel summons Atronachs but I don't know what I need and I don't know how to use it, but with the wierd hand thing I don't have a single clue what it's for or how to use it, though ironicly I know what I need, any help with unlocking the secrets and collecting everything I need?

There should be a journal and key lying around the area in the room with the hand. There is a chest in the library that opens with the key.

There is a diary next to the hand. You need to find a chest in library and steal rings. This will summon weak dremora which you can kill or help.
The altar probably has some additional quests. Currently you can use it to summon enemies, and you can prolly summon a dremora with it also. There is a diary with recipes near it also for summoning.
