Has anyone else had this happen?

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 9:53 am

Recently during my second playthrough, I've had a strange occurrence that never happened once in my first game. I'll be wandering along the road between markarth and whiterun when all of a sudden BOOM theres a rumble, my viewpoint shakes around like there's an earthquake and my controller vibrates as well.

What on earth is this about? Is it a misc quest I'm missing?

Are you on PC? If so, do you have the Space Core mod?

Otherwise, I've no idea.

Flying ones, not so sure.

Crashing ones do though, now you mention it.

Nope, 360. Probably should have mentioned that, it's deffo not mod-related. It's really similar to the greybeards call (without the call) or a dragon touching down, but I've neglected to start the MQ to the point that dragons appear, and there's no word wall nearby as far as I can figure out...?

Nope, cleared out robbers gorge sometime previouslyand it's happened twice a fair distance away from it. I think it's most likely a glitch, although I thought I would check on here to confirm if it is indeed a glitch, or some sort of dwemer/crazy Mage quest :D

That's what I was going to say. Every time I go to Lost Valley Redoubt, (or whatever it is...the one with Bard's Leap Summit), this happens.

Right, next time it happens there will be a thorough investigation, and a report back! This may take a while as it's only happened twice in 15-odd levels...

Look around the area you're in when that happens... it happened to me too and I was able to glimpse what it was... it's actually quite cool (not going to spoil it for you)

I have had dragon fly-by's do that to me before. Especially if I am in the woods and can't see them through the trees. The ground will shake and if I look up fast enough I'll see their shadow sailing off somewhere.

I'm on the 360 as well and have had this happen. It happened in my current play just a day or two ago. I have no reason why. There were no dragons around that I could see. I didn't do anything different that should trigger anything like that. I had already heard the call from the Graybeards long ago. No idea.

Happened to me today in roughly the same area - it was across a river opposite one of the Foresworn stongeholds.

It would really spoil it if I told you. Next time it happens, wander around the area for a little while.

I always thought it was a dragon flying over head, a couple of times just after hearing and feeling what you have described I've looked up to see a dragon flying off in the distance.
