has anyone else not read many of the books yet?

i feel quite guilty about it (all the effort that bethesda made with the lore) but i just cannot stay still long enough in this game.i just keep on wanting to explore the world some more, look at the beautiful views.i do plan on reading them in the future though.i do open any that i find though, just in case they give you skill perks.

I've started reading them. Read about 5 so far. They are good too, well worth checking out if you like lore. I find reading the in-game books goes great with a hot cup of coffee. One hand on the controller flipping the pages the other with your coffee :) Great times.

My favorite was this choose your own adventure book I found. Amazing. Also "Twin Secrets" is very cool, as is the guide on how to hunt trolls, and the Akatosh/Alduin Dichotomy is very interesting. I also picked one up talking about Morrowind but I haven't read it yet.

i have a collection of over 100 books in my house in whiterun. i haven't read them all thoroughly, but i plan to. some are really interesting to read and very well done. i try to read/grab any new book i can find. some books increase certain skills, some open up map locations and some even open up quests.

I've been collecting quite a few of them, intending to read them when I get a house. I haven't gotten a house yet and so I'm hauling all these books around like some kind of weird sword-wielding librarian, lol. Well, one day I'll settle down long enough to buy a house and read my growing collection of books. *sigh*

Am not worried about it. I know i'll be playing SKYRIM for years so i will take my time enjoying the amazing literature. Bethesda did a fantastic job on the books and i have yet to be bored reading a single one. They're on the same level of greatness as the books in MORROWIND and lore rich with plenty of legends like the books from TES 2 DAGGERFALL. Some very curious lore and secrets. Finding myself quite fascinated with the whole Morag Tong and Dark Brotherhood history.

Yes just like Pseron Wyrd i have yet to get a house and am lugging these books all over the place.

only book I've read was about oblivion and what happened then . memories of my former character :)

I want to read them but yeah I don't want to spent the time reading . maybe after I've completed enough of the game

i did this too before i finally got my house. i had 100 books in my inventory but didn't want to drop my books because i didn't read all of them yet and i didn't know which books were rare. each book is like 1 pound each, so i was wasting 100 pounds of inventory!

I've read quite a number of the new books introduced in Skyrim. I'm constantly snatching books from here and there (even spending my gold on them) and building my library up. I don't have a permanent home, but for now, the books are accumulating at the College of Winterhold.

Read quite a lot to start but recently have just been collecting to read later. I'd guess i've gone through 20 or so. Of the longer books i've probably read 5 or 6.

I got a little overwhelmed in the college of mages library!

Ive read about 6. I have like 12 more on my book shelf in my Whiterun home i havnt read yet. Couple days a week (In-game) I like to sit by the cooking pot, have a bottle of mead and read after a day of adventuring.
