Has anyone else noticed the new Dwemer Smithing Perks?

Post » Wed Nov 21, 2012 12:38 am

I noticed these Smithing Perks after installing Dawnguard.
They allow one to make Various Dwarven Automata, including the Simulacrum which has only been seen up to now in loadscreens.
It also adds some spellbooks craftable at the forge which do various things including healing for undead and automata.

It's rather like Robco for Skyrim :)

I hadn't noticed them, and I'm glad you took the time to post this. I'm going to look into that. Thanks.

Indeed. There are no dwemer smith perks and no automota to craft in the vanilla game.

Why is it that people post something they just "found" in the game then it turns out they're the only one that has it because they're running a [censored] load of mods?

Check your damn mods before posting such nonsense....

It only takes one mod.

I know that but alot of people have so many mods installed they're not even sure what all of them are fully capable of. Example being the one whom created this thread.

My fellow PC users have made the Dawnguard forums... frustrating. Raise the bar folks, not dumb it down.

You're just jealous of our fantastical experiences with Skyrim while you console users are stuck with bare-bones. :P

I have to agree. It was an honest mistake. I've seen a lot more inflammatory posts get put up, intentionally, with less harsh responses.

Easy there big guy, yeah we know your awsome with all your (mods) and we bow down to the PC world. But remember most console gamers are enjoying Skyrim on a large HD screen, myself included. I could play Skyrim on my PC, but I choose the 60" HD TV and the surround sound because I'm getting spoiled by the tech world. Yes I know my laptop can connect to my TV, but it's just a matter of hours playing comfortably for me:) :)

Most of us have posted something we later found out was not accurate, because we're excited to explain what we discovered. The OP made a mistake, give her a break, and reply with positive comments. :)

I get the best of both worlds, I'm using a pc linked into my tv ;) anyway back on topic cut the person some slack it's sometimes difficult to keep track of the mods you have and if you have a lot of mods this is doubly so, meaning when u find something new AFTER installing DG you logically assume it's from DG. A mistake was made ignore it n move along don't berate em. We are all friends here :)
