Has anyone noticed that this game is becoming PvPers VS non-

Post » Sun Nov 18, 2012 10:27 pm

Every MMO has some degree of this, but the way this game is being made, it's going to either piss off either the PvPers or the non-PvPers.
  • If they keep faction zone locks, we end up with a game that's better for PvP, but worse for playing with friends and exploration.
  • If they keep faction zone locks and block chat between factions, we end up with a game that's better for PvP, but worse for playing with friends even in the one place in the world we can meet up.
  • If they keep faction zone locks and do not block chat between factions, we end up with a game that's worse for PvP, but allows one to play with friends even in the one place in the world we can meet up.
  • If they make the whole world open PvP, all non-PvPers are [censored] who just want to relax wile exploring with friends.

The only way to please everyone is to allow people to enter other faction zones as non-combatants, and not allow corss faction chat in PvP zones. It's just that simple. STOP [censored] SPLITING YOUR DAMN PLAYER BASE!

I'm not a great one for the PVP, but I can see the necessity for the locks with regard to the Cyrodillic areas of the game. As long as the faction areas are rich enough in content and interaction, and it does look like they will be, I'm sure the game will be fine for non-PVP and RP types.

Essentially, given the seeming scale of the thing, we'll be dealing with the equivalent of a full-sized PVP game, and three slightly different flavours of full-sized non-PVP games. Not a bad thing in my opinion.

It doesn't how much content the devs throw in. The devs can never replace my friends who all want to be veried races.

People are trying to remove the whole story concept of region based alliances are in war towards Cyrodiil for the throne. Yes, it may not fully support lore from TES, but move on.

The only allowance that can be given is WoW model of open borders, but you risk PVP.

STOP WHINING ABOUT THEIR CONCEPT!

THIS ISN"T A TES MULTIPLAYER FRAKING GAME! IT'S AN MMO THAT INVOLVES 3 FACTIONS FIGHTING. SHUT THE FRAK UP AND STOP RE-POSTING SAME TOPICS!!!!!

I figured forums are probably full of PVPers currently but just wait when they start to give some info on PVE, raid, dungeon, adventure zones, NPC guilds etc. There should be plenty, I think I read somewhere theres 15 dungeon at launch, some of them are in Cyrodil and PVPVE dungeons though. Yeah, this isnt probably right game for pure PVE players.

Seriously Kalron78, if you're gonna white-knight, try to do so in a more level-headed manner.
Create some interesting topics that don't involve factions at all if it bothers you that much.
