I pre-ordered Dark Souls from Amazon and it shipped on release date at 3AM and arrived at 5PM.

It's not illegal. Bethesda doesn't write the laws. Some ToysRus had copies out last friday, lol. Retailers are mostly staffed by uneducated losers, mistakes happen.

Awesome bud! Hope it is everything you hoped it would be! My Amazon account still tells me it has not shipped yet and I paid for release date delivery. Estimates it to be here on Friday, but I'm getting a little antsy. I would have thought it would be shipped by now... <_<
