After retrieving the White Phial and returning it to Nurelion, he gives you the usual telling off that he gives everyone. Unhappy with the reward he gave me, I went back to see him in his bed and tried to talk to him. A text message came up, telling me that Nurelion was unable to talk because of his illness and was dying. I know it's only a video game but I actually felt quite sad at that. It was quite touching.
