So I started the game like everyone else, came onto Riverwood and met the trader, and met Camilla Valerius. I got a quick liking to the voice actor/attitude of Camilla, so I married her when I found the marriage feature.

We moved to Whiterun, like most everyone does it being their first house, and it was alright for a while, I would come home from a hard day of slaying dragons and bandits, and get a small income from the shop and a good homecooked meal. Sometimes I would see Faendal walking the streets of Whiterun, which I found odd but didnt pay much attention to it, saw it as the game having integration and characters actually having real lives and traveling.

However. One day I arrived over-encumbered and looking for Camilla at home so I could dispose of some dragon bones. I went in the house and didnt see her in the kitchen/living room as she usually is. Had to walk upstairs and right then I see that bloody elf Faendal coming out of the bedroom with a wide grin on his face. At first I was confused, I thought Camilla had been bugged into looking like Faendal, but then I walked in the room and she was sitting in the chair next to the table, and that is when I realized the reality of the situation. She had been cheating on me with Faendal while I was away. It was why he had been walking all the way from Riverwood to Whiterun.

Needless to say what happened afterwards ofcourse, but I got 2 new ash piles near the fireplace. Has this happened to anyone else? Is it intended to be like that?

He was coming out of the bedroom, that is different. They were alone in the bedroom.

Actually thats the sad part. I helped Faendal write that thieving letter supposedly made by Sven and delivered it to her, he seemed like a good guy. I guess that was part of the reason why he ended up loving her more.

It was a glitch, like with that chick in Riften who always has the guy following her, even if you marry her. Faendal is scripted to visit Camilla every day.

Is Faendal actually supposed to travel to Whiterun?



Not necessarily to visit Camilla.

Maybe he was just giving her a foot massage. The appropriate punishment for which would be to drop him four stories onto a greenhouse.

I thought my wife was cheating on me with another man so I killed him... turns out this man was my housecarl and they're supposed to be there. Oh well, better safe then sorry.

I had a similar thing happen to me, only I was living with Camilla in Riften. It was real odd when I saw Faendal walking around Riften, but I figure what the hell, could be anything. Earlier in the game I had finished the quest which gets Camilla interested in Faendal so Faendal would follow me as a companion. I dumped him for Lydia when I got to Whiterun.

So one day, I come home and Faendal is walking out of my bedroom, and makes a comment to me about how glad he is that I helped him out with Camilla.

Needless to say, I killed him and dumped his body in that empty room in the basemant of the Riften house. As soon as I decapitated him, Camilla told me how glad she was that I was home.

LMAO in the game I married Camilla....

Faendal already died in some fight or another (didn't care about him enough to reload... I'd already trained bow to 50 LOL)....

I'm thinking about buying a 2nd house to move her into... I like Breezehome as a storage place cause of the 2x blacksmith and skyforge. (that char is my paladin type 2 hander).

Wonder if I can still have us move into her place actually... then I can just ignore her in riverwood except when I go get my skrills and rest bonus.

I married Mjoll the Lioness. However, there's this guy named Aerin who seems to follow her 24/7.
So I've got my housecarl, a wife, and this random dude living in my house. I don't know if they had a relationship once but geez, the guy needs to let it go.

Gotta get amulet of mara in Riften. Just be sure to watch for cheaters, camilla is not the only one ive heard of

There is a option for PC, but not sure about console.
