I am just so upset. I hate them so much.

yeah i know. i always wandered why they didnt use the ps3 at all to showcase the game,,, i figuired it was because m$ paid them too use the xbox in fear that the ps3 version would look slightly better... Oh, how naive i was.

I was anticipating this game more than any in recent memory. Now i have to wait for a patch if i want to play more than an hour at a time. So depressing

yeah. i called my local game store today... they said they will give me a full refund on the game since its still been less than a week since the game was bought. just... they need to fix this. this is really bad. i dont wanna turn in my copy, but 60 bucks for a game that will degrade itself in time.... idk.

The frame rate and lag issues on the PS3 will not be fixed in the new update, don't even get your hopes up.

And if they ever do actually get around to making a patch for these problems, they still won't FIX the problem, they'll only make it better.

Sure it won't. If they have answer and fix for this in the upcoming patch they would brag about it to get a little bigger in eyes of angry players, they wouldn't play stupid about it with Heis Hies or whatever his name is with those statements. I doubt this is gonna be fixed for us any time soon, although i wouldn't be surprised if it never gets.

I'm trying to keep my hopes up. Trying to be positive in the fact that they will address the FPS drop in the PS3. But if they so happen to not fix that... I don't know what I'm gonna do. This is the game that I've been waiting for since a long time. Never was so hyped for a video game like I was for Skyrim. Having to deal with this is so frustrating and truly depressing. I just hope they don't let us down, but for some reason this isn't the first time that a PS3 port svcks monkey nuts >..>

Well. How about taking tomorrow, Saturday, and purchase an Xbox and Skyrim for the Xbox. Hook it all up, dust everything with some wipes from Fry's, dim the lights, pour yourself some wine and play some Skyrim.

You deserve it. It certainly has been a trying and difficult time for you. You are entitled to some happiness, comfort and joy. A working copy of Skyrim, I'm sure, will produce for you what you need to relieve your anger and be complete.

When I get a $300 check in the mail from Bethesda I'll consider getting an Xbox...

Look dude, I know you are upset, but is this really necessary? You've posted it in several other threads, and the truth of the matter is, you, I, The Moderators, or anyone else, has no way of knowing if/when they will/won't fix it. You can go on past track records, but to alienate a third of your user base is NOT a healthy business plan. Sure, it's been done in the past, but it wasn't as big as this. I mean, huge online media outlets are on top of this, and for them NOT to fix it would spell certain disaster for their company. Again, they've gotten away with it in the past, but to most people, it's three strikes and you're out. Sure, it's the PS3 this time, but what if it's the PC or Xbox next time? It doesn't matter, because no one, no matter what platform they play on, will in good faith by a game from a company that thumbed their nose up at a game breaking glitch, regardless of whether it was your selected platform or not. What if a car company had one third of it's vehicle blow up and mutilate the passengers, and they did nothing to fix it?... would you buy a car from that company even if YOUR particular model didn't blow up? Again, I know you are all upset. Even with a "working" copy, I too, am upset with them, but to shoot them down before they even get a chance to rectify it is just stirring a hornet's nest.

Buy the 4gb tomorrow and the additional drive later. Or trade in the ps3?

Listen: If Skyrim was not working for me, I would trade in my Ps3 and assorted games for an Xbox and just Skyrim - that's how much I think this game rocks.

Yes - I've tried to rile you up, but seriously - this game is too amazing not to play it. For me - it is like all games rolled into one.
