More specifically, I hate enemies who use the Disarm shout on me, in rocky caves filled with water pools, crevices, and other assorted places that make for very good odds I'll never find my weapon again.

Latest fight, the dude kept blowing weapons out of my hands as I went through my inventory trying new ones. I did eventually find the Fine Imperial Bow, Dwarven Bow, and Dwarven Mace.

My Superior Skyforged Steel Sword? Nope. Spent 15 minutes, never found it. (Not even trying console->tcl to clip below the floor.)


Sigh.

On the plus side, I did find 50% resist fire Elven Boots in that dungeon (putting me to 80% total with the magic shield. Dragonfire? What dragonfire?), so it wasn't a total loss.

Did you try using illuminating magic to find your weapon?

I agree. It drives me nuts. I just equip two spells now when I come across a disarm shouter...
