So I play on PS3 now, and both of my characters have tried doing the stupid Vaermina quest, but with both characters I had to redo the quest at least FIVE times!!!! Because everytime I had to open my inventory it would autosave and freeze. So to avoid this I would try to save manually, but nope it also freezes when I try that. I am so pissed at that quest because I have done it about 10 times total that I know officially hate Vaermina and I hope if they make a DLC with her I hope we get to kill her!

Sorry for the rant, has anyone else experienced this problem where it is impossible to save without the game freezing if you are doing her quest?

Have you tried turning all autosaves off? Also yeah, Vaermina's skull svcks in terms of damage.

I finally completed the quest so I don't need to do it now, but I didn't bother turning them off because I didn't want to risk the game freezing when I open up the menu.

OT: you could just turn off the Auto-save every 10 minutes or so in your Settings, complete the quest without saving, leave, then try it

The bug was introduced in the 1.8 patch and has been widely reported.

The problem Is addressed in the 1.9 patch.

Don't you have to charge it up on sleeping NPC's before it'll do anything worthwhile?
